Learn to Skate

Whether you're lacing up skates for the first time or you're an experienced skater looking to improve your technique, Citi Pond has a top notch staff of coaches ready to help. Coaches are also available for birthday parties and group events. Reserve a lesson time by calling 646-558-3775. 

Walk-in lessons are also available on a first-come, first-served basis Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 6pm.  Please visit the Skate Services center in the Skating Pavilion to sign up.

Pricing:

Private Lessons:                                    $50 per student (+ sales tax)
Semi-Private Lessons (2-3 students):      $65 per group (+ sales tax)
Group Lessons (4-8 students):                $80 per group (+ sales tax)

All lessons are 30 minutes. Semi-private and group lesson prices represent the total cost, not a per person charge.  Skate rentals are not included, and can be purchased for $14 (inc. tax)
