Wim Hof visits Citi Pond at Bryant Park
On Friday, November 18, 2011, guest of Citi Pond had a chance to get their picture taken with Wim Hof at the Columbia Freeze Tour.
Hof successfully broke the world record for the Full Body Ice Endurance in New York on Thursday, November 17; standing in ice up to his neck for over 1 hour and 52 minutes. To see Wim in action head to www.columbia.com/wimhof
Wim Hof, 52, is a Dutchman whose feats demonstrating imperviousness to extreme cold include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and running a full marathon in shorts in subfreezing temperatures. He's featured in commercials for Columbia Sportswear, which calls Hof an "anti-spokesman" for a new line of electrically heated jackets and gloves.
